Borsalino, the Italian hat manufacture has played with Bimota. The first time they played with the Bimota D85 to celebrate their 150th anniversary in 2007. It was the perfect creation. And then this result leads Borsalino to make another creation involving the Bimota.

This time Borsalino plays with Bimota Dʚ Delirio. One of the best hat company in the world, Borsalino features special livery for the Bimota Dʚ Delirio. It was founded in 1857. The company known for its elegance and style that is purely southern European. They have chosen the green and cream livery that is very British racing. Although the style is not Italian sports bike…but to Borsalino…it could be something elegant and classic.

Yamaha is in collaboration with Toyota to build the first hybrid motorcycle. The question is what will Toyota do?

According to a report that Toyota will provide the engine for Yamaha’s hybrid motorcycle. There is no detail and specification. But if the report is true…Yamaha hybrid vehicle will be powered by both a 20bhp internal combustion engine and an electric motor. This engine could come from the Toyota Prius technology like used on Toyota Prius hybrid. Visordown said that the water-cooled 250cc  engine will be with electric generator. They will be controlled by a sophisticated ECU.

Moto Morini is preparing its new gun to shot down the upcoming Ducati Cayenne/Strada Aperta. Motoclismo reported that a motard version of the the Granpasso has been tested at Adria circuit. This Moto Morini’s new motard comes in interesting head-on profile. Just see the pictures below. It is really something different from the others. To me, it looks like a streetfighter rather than a motard. Hmmm…it is so good.

The other unique features include dual-exhaust with high position at the rear. It is equipped with Brembo monobloc four piston calipers combined with the 320mm brake discs. These are sport specs…allright?

Moto Morini’s development manager that the engine is the same as the 1200cc Granpasso, and not the same engine as used on the Corsaso streetfighter.

There is not yet officially confirmation about the bike debut. But the November’s EICMA could be something reasonable.
