EVA Track T-800CDI Diesel Motorcycle has been launched in Netherland by the EVA Company. EVA Track T-800CDI is perhaps the first production diesel motorcycle in the world. Along with the launching, EVA also confirmed that its bike is not available in the shape 2WD now as we reported before. But one possibility in the future EVA will make it real. Erik Vegt, the CEO of EVA products said that the company will build 150 units this year and expand production from 5 to 25 bikes a week in 2010. EVA Track T-800CDI is powered by the diesel engine that based on the Smart ForTwo car. Making the same power at 45bhp, but the engine has less torque at 74lb/ft compared to the Smart’s 81lb/ft. The power and torque are delivered across 1,800 to 4,500rpm. Fuel-economy is up to 112mpg at 55mph. Long service intervals of up to 31,000 miles. The engine life span is predicted until 375,000 miles. And one point for EVA Track T-800CDI that its engine is compatible with gas-to-liquid fuel oil.
