BMW D1200R Concept, it′s still confusing me of it′s a robot or a motorcycle. But according to BMW, its a concept motorcycle. The prototype motorcycle was created by Pablo Gonzalez de Chaves and Carlos Beltran based on the BMW R with modifications on new chassis, new front suspension and bodywork. Powered by 1200cc Boxer twin engine that wrapped by aluminium frame that also acts as a stressed member of the frame.

BMW D1200R Concept’s project took over a year to complete. Starting at a BMW R1200R which was fitted with sensors and taken to the track. After collecting enought of data a thorough top-to-bottom redesign began. Beginning with exploratory sketches the design process went through various stages before ending up as a 3D computer model. The team were able to build all the custom parts necessary for construction of the bike using the computer model .
