Aprilia Mana 850 GT ABS is one of the launching bike in the Dolomites mountain along with Apriliat Shiver 750GT and Moto Guzzi Stelvio 4V NTX. This is one of the special bike in its class, similar to the Honda DN-01 in its class. The 227kg Aprilia Mana 850 GT ABS is priced at £6999 with two color options: Blue, white and two standard feature: a half-fairing and ABS.
Power source for this Aprilia’s £6999 Sport Touring bike comes from its sister company′s Gilera GP800 scooter, 839.3cc V-twin scooter engine equipped with CVT (continuously variable transmission). So, this bike has automatic side like Honda DN-01. But Aprilia has also equipped it with three modes: Touring, Sport and Rain, like on the Aprilia Shiver 750. It can also be turned into an electronically controlled, semi-automatic seven-speed sequential gearbox with a flick of a button.
The engine of Aprilia Mana 850 GT is a liquid cooled. The four stroke 839.3cc engine gives 76bhp of power and 54ftlb of torque. These performance figures are less powerful and torquely than the Aprilia Shiver 750 naked. But it’s enough for a sport touring bike where you don’t need too high speed, just medium. In auto mode it just feel like a scooter easy to use and is suitable for entry level bikers. In the shape of motorcycle, it has better frame, chunky swingarm, higher wheels (combined new 17-inch Pirelli Angel ST sports touring tyres, upside down forks and radial brakes. It ensures better cornering and handling than a scooter.
