2009 Honda CRF150R Expert comes with new black color as addition of the red color. The black color with price of $4299 USD is a special edition which produced no more than 500 bikes.
But not only color, Honda’s smallest motocrosser with curb weight of 187 pounds also features a 19-inch front tire and 16-inch rear one, 10.8 inches of travel of the 37mm fully adjustable leading-axle inverted Showa cartridge fork, the pro-link fully adjustable Showa single shockwith 11.5 inches of travel for best jumping, cornering, and all off road performance handling. The brakes feature a 220mm disc front and a 190mm disc rear.
Core performance of these bike come from the high-performance of four-stroke 149cc liquid-cooled engine, single-cylinder,and compression ratio of 11.7:1. Engine is supported by a carburettor that feature TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) for linear throttle responses through out the range. For truly groundbreaking performance engine is wrapped with track-designed chassis.

- Twin-sump lubrication system separates the oil supply for the crankshaft, piston and valve train from the clutch and transmission. This ensures a cool supply of oil to the clutch, eliminates potential clutch and transmission material contamination of the engine oil, reduces the amount of circulating oil and permits the use of a smaller oil pump.
- Exhaust system uses a lightweight stainless exhaust header and repackable aluminum muffler.
