Benelli has new bike, Tre-K 899. It is a smaller sibling of Benelli Tre-K 1130. Powered by an 898cc three-cylinder engine, the Benelli Tre-K 899 delivering 79.4 kW at 9000 rpm of power and 88 Nm at 7500 rpm of torque to support agility and ability. Engine with 6-speed transmission is liquid cooled and supplied by fuel injection for stabilty performance. The adventure bike is mated with new geometry, Marzocchi 50 mm diameter upside down fork, ASD steel tube trellis swingarm with Extreme Technology single shock absorber with adjustable rebound and spring pre-load for better handling. While 320 mm diameter twin floating disk with 4 piston calipers up front and single disk with twin piston caliper at rear both mounted on 17″ wheel, all brakes from Brembo is the way to say that this is a high performance adventure bike from Benelli. The 2009 Benelli Tre-K 899 comes in three color options and with price of £6999 inUK.
